Annie Sloan Wall Paint in Adelphi is a soft and complex taupe, a blend of gray and brown, and makes a brilliant base to use as part of complex pastel schemes. This perfectly balanced neutral color was inspired by the highly influential neoclassical architect Robert Adam, who often exhibited this soft hue in the many private homes, churches and theaters he designed.
