This vibrant, dark orange Chalk Paint™ color is based on the modern color used extensively by the Impressionists, in early advertising and in 1960s decor. Such a brilliant orange was not available until the early 20th century . Finished with Black Chalk Paint™ Wax, the color becomes more of a "burnt" orange, like the color of Chinese lacquer.
