Annie Sloan Wall Paint in Terre Verte is a cool, neutral gray-green shade with enough white incorporated to allow it to be used as a neutral within a color scheme. Terre Verte has the serenity of a blue-green color, yet retains warmth through organic, light brown pigments. As the name suggests, this is a very traditional color inspired by the pigment Green Earth. This color was used by medieval Italian painters to underpaint midtones and shadows of skin tones. Terre Verte combines well with natural shades such as beige, brown and cream, creating a calm and balanced atmosphere. It can also be contrasted with brighter colors such as yellow or orange for a more vibrant look.
